Psi Chi Membership

Requirements include:

• Completion of 3 semesters of college (NOT BY CREDITS; current semester does not count). 

• Must be at least a second semester sophomore. 

• Completion of 9 credit hours of psychology courses. The 9 hours of psychology classes do not have to be at UF specifically, but they do need to be from a college or university (AP/IB does not count for this).

• GPA: 3.0 overall and 3.5 in psychology (psychology GPA is based only on psychology courses, i.e., EXP, EAB, SOP, CLP, PSY, PCO, etc.). Current classes do not count, they must have been COMPLETED.

The Psi Chi application and materials are due by our 3rd GBM. Please make sure you have all the necessary paperwork, which includes:​

• Psi Chi Application found at https://www.psichi.org/page/JoinToday

• An official UF transcript sealed (MUST be sealed) given to our President or Dr. Chandler

• $55 Membership Fees (Cash App or Venmo made out to UF Psychology Club). If you are not accepted into Psi Chi, you will receive a full refund

All money accepted from members accepted into Psi Chi will be sent from Psychology Club to Psi Chi as one large check (Rest assured, your money is going to a good place!)
